Neveh Shalom Artist Wins Honorable Mention

Portland artist, Sara Harwin, has art work displayed in the 14th Biennial Exhibition of the Liturgical Art Guild of Ohio Harwin won honorable mention for e~ piece entitled "Torah Mantle." Two other Harwin pieces were also in the show: a prayer shawl, "Tallit Unending Knot;" and a head covering, "Kippot". This is the fourth consecutive LAGO show in which Harwin has exhibited.
The 14th Biennial Exhibition, "Con-temporary Works of Faith '95", runs through April 9, 1995, at the Schumacher Gallery at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
Sponsored by the Liturgical Art Guild of Ohio, this juried, international show is highly acclaimed by critics and pa-trons. The Guild is a non-profit organi-zatio n dedicated to serving artists, craftspersons, architects, clergy, churches and synagogues, and others interested in promoting the creation of original works of art for use in religious environments and liturgy.
