Blessings & Texts

Tapping into the wisdom of Hebrew blessings and texts by adding Hebrew letters to graphic imagery has added another layer of intrigue to each level of the process from creation to viewing. Utilizing the idea of alphabet blocks with Hebrew letters, I began a series of pieces that went beyond just using letters to making words, imagining phrases (Imahot and Avot), and finally telling a story (Jacob's Ladder).
